The Task Conditioning feature ensures that participants complete prerequisite tasks, hold specific assets or give exclusivity and advantages to quest participants by enhancing the flow and structure of your quests.
Capabilities and Potential Use Cases:
Prerequisite Tasks and Event Participation:
Capability: Require users to complete certain tasks before starting a new one or to have registered for an event.
Use Case: Ensure users complete introductory tasks or register for an event before accessing more advanced or event-related content.
User Eligibility:
Capability: Set conditions based on user profiles, such as holding specific tokens or NFTs, highlighting exclusivity.
Use Case: Only users who hold a specific NFT can participate in a task, ensuring exclusive access for certain community members.
Enhanced Gamification:
Capability: Create complex quest chains where users need to complete multiple tasks in sequence.
Use Case: Collect a gift box only after collecting diamonds, ores, and batteries, and talking with an NPC.
Navigate to the Task Setup:
Go to the task you want to set conditions for.
Enable Task Condition:
Toggle the Task Condition feature.
Define Conditions:
Select prerequisite tasks to match your desired user eligibility criteria.
Note: Only tasks that have been saved will be able to be selected as a condition rule. Make sure you've saved changes for the list to be updated.
Save Settings:
Save the task with the defined conditions.
