Before we get started with this guide, ensure you own a Metaverse Project. If you haven’t created a metaverse project yet, please refer to the Creating a Metaverse Guide.
Log In to BitCountry
Navigate to the BitCountry Metaverse login page.
Enter your credentials and log in.
Go to the “Home” Section by clicking on the icon of your project on the left bar
You will find two places to begin creating a quest:
Left Menu: Click on the “Quest” option in the left menu.
Home Page Button: Click on the “Create Quest” button on the home page of your Community.
Click on the “Create New Quest” button in the Quest Manager portal.
You will find four different options to create quests under two different sections:
Start from Scratch
Blank Quest: Allows you to manually select the type of tasks and activities you want your community to perform within a certain period of time.
Start from Templates
Boost Social Presence: This template suggests core tasks for you to populate with your social media links and specific URLs you want your community to visit while completing the task.
Increase Followers: This template suggests tasks to increase your community following on the BitCountry platform.
Knowledge Sharing FAQ: This template suggests tasks for your community to answer quizzes, learn about your project by interacting with NPCs inside your metaverse project, and the specific text you want your NPCs to share in each conversation they have with your community on the specific task.
Title: Enter a descriptive title for your quest.
Description: Provide a detailed description of what the quest entails.
Enable Human Score: This feature helps to avoid sybil attacks. Users need to connect multiple applications and wallets to their profiles. Based on the quality, age, and experience in these applications, they earn a score. Quest creators can set a minimum score to allow users to participate in the quest.
Rewards Settings
Point Setting and Quantity:
For All Tasks: Set the total points to be distributed among all tasks.
For Each Task: Set the points for each individual task.
Reward Type and Number of Winners:
Top Leaderboard: Rewards the top performers based on their scores.
Raffle: Winners are selected randomly.
FCFS (First Come First Serve): Rewards are given to the first users who complete the tasks.
Reward Description: Describe the points or additional rewards that participants can win by participating in your quest and meeting the reward settings setup
End date
Set the timeframe for the campaign. i.e. 3 days, or 30 days.
Enter the start and end dates for the quest. Choose this option if you have specific or custom timeframes you want your quest to run on.
The templates mentioned above are fully customizable and serve only as suggestions and examples of tasks you can perform depending on the goals you want to accomplish. To add or delete tasks, simply click on the designated buttons.
