This guide shows how to set up a portal that teleports visitors to another World, Space, or even an external website. We'll also cover adding a visual representation so people know where to walk!

✅ 1. Open the Settings Panel

Click the Settings button at the top right of your screen to open the customization menu.

✅ 2. Click "Portal"

In the Settings panel, click the “Portal” button to start creating a portal.

✅ 3. Fill in the Portal Information

A form will appear:

  • Paste the URL of the destination (World, Space, or external website).

  • Optionally add a description to show users what the portal leads to.

  • Select the Size (default is fine unless you want it bigger/smaller).

Once completed, click “Create A Portal.”

✅ 4. Place the Portal

Move your mouse to the spot on the map where you want the portal to be.

👉 Right click to place it.

⚠️ The portal is invisible by default to users. After placement, it will trigger teleportation when walked over, but won’t visually show anything.

📝 Optional: Add a Visual Portal Image

Since the portal is invisible, we recommend placing a visual marker so visitors know where to walk!

Here’s how:

✅ 5. Add a Visual Object (Portal Image)

Go back to Settings → Add Object and click “Create A New Object.”

✅ 6. Upload the Portal Image

  • Click Upload Image.

  • Select Image as the type.

  • Upload your portal graphic (PNG recommended).

  • Give it a name (e.g., “Portal Core”).

  • Set the Depth (Above Floor works well).

  • Click Upload.

✅ 7. Place the Visual Marker

Your portal image will now appear in your object list.

Move your mouse over the invisible portal trigger location and right click to place the portal image exactly on top of it.

👉 Adjust Depth, Scale, or other settings to fit your world’s design.

⚠️ Leave Collider unchecked so players can walk into the image to trigger the teleport!

✅ 8. Save Your Changes

Finally, click “Done” at the bottom of the screen to save everything.

🏃 What happens now?

Whenever a visitor walks into the portal area, they will see a confirmation message:

“You are about to teleport to another World. Do you want to proceed now?”

  • Clicking Teleport Now sends them to the linked world/website.

  • Clicking Cancel keeps them in the current world.

🎉 All set!

You’ve created an invisible portal trigger with a visible image to guide visitors, offering an immersive way to teleport between experiences.
