Creating a Proposal

Token holders can use on-chain governance to create and vote on proposals to make changes to the Metaverse.Network pioneer blockchain and ecosystem.

Any $NEER holder can create a public proposal. The community can submit multiple proposals during the Launch Period. At the end of the launch period, the proposal that is endorsed with the most $NEER will move to a referendum.

1) Click on the Network Governance tab and then click to Create Proposal.

To create a referendum, users must create a proposal to be endorsed by community members. Only the top proposal will move to a referendum.

2) Use the dropdown menus to select the Section and method for your proposal. Enter the details and upload supporting documents.

A minimum of 10,000 $NEER is required to create a proposal. The deposit can be increased, however, keep in mind that for a community member to endorse your proposal, they need to match the level of your initial deposit. For example, if your deposit is 12,000 $NEER, a community member must commit 12,000 $NEER to endorse your proposal.

The minimum deposit to submit a proposal is 1000 $NEER. All deposited $NEER is released when the proposal launch period finishes.

3) Click to Submit the Proposed Action and then Submit the Proposal. Once your proposal has been submitted it will be queued with all of the proposals submitted in that launch round.

The proposals are ranked depending on the size of the $NEER deposit. When the launch period finishes, the proposal with the highest value of $NEER will automatically advance to a referendum.

Proposals are ranked depending on the amount of $NEER deposited.
