# NPC Greetings Big Maps like Kaosland, come equipped with Non Playable Characters (NPCs) that you can customize with specific and random greeting messages your space visitors will get when they approach any of the NPCs. To customize the greetings and messages the NPCs will send, be sure you are in a larger map or a map that has the NPCs function enabled.
1. Head to the **Settings** Menu

2. Select the NPC Greeting option

3. Type the random messages the NPCs will send, the more messages you add, the more randomized the messages will be every time an NPC is approached

4. Click on the save button 5. It’s time to try it out, approach any of the NPCs available in Kaosland and try the greetings yourself.
