How to Customize Your Avatar on a 2.5D Space
You can Customize your Avatar Name, add a status, and Connect your wallet.
To change your Avatar Status, simply type the desired status on the first field under your username and the "Available" status.
To customize even further, click "Change Avatar"
Here you will be able to customize the Avatar wearables, change your Avatar Name and Nickname.
After you are happy with your changes, don't forget to click on "Save" so the changes performed take effect.
Turn On/Off your Video
Click the video camera icon at the bottom of the screen to turn the video on/off.
The video icon is red when the camera is turned OFF.
The video icon is white when the camera is turned ON.
Virtual Background
Some of the BC Spaces allow you to customize your virtual background and hide anything happening behind you. The list of BC Spaces that allow you to change or blur your background are the following:
1) In order to select a virtual background, click on the Arrow button next to the Camera Icon.
2) Click on the Enhancements Icon
3) Select your favorite background image, or upload your own.
4) Click on the Save Button.
Note: Setting a virtual background causes a demand for resources and may hit performance on some devices. If you experience performance issues, we advise disabling it.
Multiple Video Display options
Click the Mode icon at the bottom of the screen to change the layout of the video icons.
a) Free mode
b) Float
c) Gallery
d) Focus
Enable/Disable Your input audio
Click the mic icon at the bottom of the screen to turn the audio on or off.
The microphone icon is red when the camera is turned OFF/MUTE.
The microphone icon is white when the audio is turned ON.
Cloud recording
As a BC Space owner, you have the power of recording your meetings on the cloud so they are accessible to you any time you need them. In order to start recording your meeting, follow the steps bellow: 1) Hover your mouse over the Record Button.
2) Select Cloud Record if you want to record the meeting on the cloud and have access to the recording anywhere, or select Local Record if you prefer to store your meetings locally.
3) Wait a few seconds for the record session to begin. Once the Record Session begins, everyone in the meeting will see that the meeting is being recorded.
To stop the recording session, simply click on the “Stop Recording” button next to the timer and wait briefly for the recording to stop. Bear in mind that it may take a few seconds for the recording session to complete, especially if it was a long recording session.
Find your BC Space recording sessions.
You will find all your recording sessions under the Attendance Menu -> Video Call/Stream and expand the specific details of the meeting you are looking for.
Maximize Screen Space
Hide and expand the menu and chat box with the icon at the top of the Menu/Chat box
Broadcast and Livestream Public Chats
Use the chat box to write messages to the group. The main chat box is public, when you send a message, it will appear above your avatar and in the chat box and will be visible by everyone who has joined the meeting/livestream
React with Fun Animations
Select any of the celebration emotes to show appreciation in the Livestream.
React with Emoji & Stickers
React to the Livestream with big and small emojis. Your reactions will appear in the chat box and above your avatar.
Raise Your Hand
Use the Raise Hand function to notify the speaker that you have something to say. A hand animation will appear above your avatar.
Ask a Question
As a guest
If you joined an event organized by someone else, you can use the chat box to ask the Host up to 2 questions. He will see the questions listed in the specific chat box and reply using the chat box, or live if he decides to reply to you using the video call/stream features.
How to Share the Space with a Friend
To enter a Space, you will need to have the URL. Click Copy Invite Link button to copy & share the Space with others.
If the Space is private, you also need to know the password.
How to Send a Friend Requests
Inside the Space, you can see how many people are online in the top right corner. Click on the button to expand the details of the people in the Space.
To add a friend click on the person icon beside the name and write them a message.
You can chat privately with your friends using the chat feature.
Play Mini Games
Visitors can play minigames inside the Space. The minigame selection can be found inside the Space Menu.
Note: More games are coming soon.
Daily Spin
Spin the wheel for a chance to win a random prize daily.
1) Click the centre of the wheel to spin.
2) You will receive the reward that the spinner dial lands on.
Treasure Hunt
Race to collect the hidden treasure before the timer runs out.
1) Race the clock to collect all the 18 treasures hidden around the Space.
2) When the timer is up, you can compare your ranking.
Teleport Tool
The teleport tool allows you to save locations to move around the Hub in a single click rapidly.
Only the Metaverse owners can create Teleport locations.
Create a Teleport Location
1) Move your avatar to the location that you want to save as a Teleport portal. Open the 2.5D Hub menu, and click Add.
2) Name your location, select whether you want the Teleport Coordinate to be private or Public, and click Save.
3) The location will appear in the 2.5D Space menu and when you click it, your avatar will be moved to that saved location.
