NFT FAQ

1) How to Create NFT/ New Collection?

a) Click My Wallet -> Create NFT.

b) Click on the Create New Collection button.

c) Enter the required details of the Collection.

d) Click on the Mint Collection button.

e) On the Transaction details modal, click on the Submit transaction button.

f) Enter the wallet address password on the polkadot.js wallet extension.

h) Wait for the success message to display.

2) How to Add an NFT to the Collection?

a) Click on the Collection where you want to add NFT(s).

b) Click on the Mint NFT Asset button.

c) Enter all required details of the NFT asset.

d) Click Mint Asset.

g) Enter the wallet address password on the polkadot.js wallet extension.

h) Wait for the success message to display.

3) How to list NFT to Marketplace as an auction?

a) Navigate to My Wallet -> My Assets.

b) Click the three white dots at the bottom of the NFT thumbnail to sell.

c) Click on the Sell button.

d) Enter Starting bid and Duration.

e) Click on the Confirm button.

f) Enter the wallet address password on the polkadot.js wallet extension.

g) Wait for the success message to display.

4) How to list NFT to Marketplace as for sale via buy now?

a) Navigate to My Wallet -> My Assets

b) Click the three white dots at the bottom of the NFT thumbnail to sell

c) Click on the Sell button

d) Click on the Buy Now section

e) Enter Price and Duration

f) Click on the Confirm button

g) Enter the wallet address password on the polkadot.js wallet extension.

h) Wait for the success message to display

5) How to request to sell an NFT on a Local Metaverse Marketplace

a) Click on the Collection -> Sell on Local Marketplace

b) Use the drop-down menu to select the metaverse that you would like to sell your NFT on. Write a message to the metaverse owner explaining why they should approve your collection.

Note: Only metaverses that hold the NFT Authorization Activation pass will be discoverable in the drop-down menu.

c) Click on the Submit button.

d) Wait for the success message to display. You will be notified if your collection is approved.

6) How to Accept Collection Requests?

a) As a metaverse owner, navigate to Metaverse ->Settings page.

b) Scroll to the Collection Request section.

c) Click on the Accept button to accept the request

7) What does 'Approve' this Collection mean on your Metaverse Marketplace?

You can sell your NFT directly to your local marketplace if you are the metaverse owner. However, if you want to authorize future buyers of that collection to re-sell or trade on your local marketplace, you need to authorize that collection to your metaverse local marketplace.

8) How to Reject Collection Request?

a) As a metaverse owner, navigate to Metaverse ->Settings page.

b) Scroll to the Collection Request section.

c) Click on the Reject button.

If you have previously accepted the request and would like to remove the collection from your marketplace click the Remove button under Authorized Collections.

9) How to check if NFT is listed on the marketplace?

a) Click on the NFT to open the NFT details page

b) Click on the Metaverse link from the NFT details page

c) The NFT should be listed

10) How to Sell on NFT Search?

If an NFT collection has been approved by a metaverse owner that holds the NFT Search Activator then the listing will automatically appear in the NFT Search.

If the metaverse owner does not hold the NFT Search Activator then the listing will only appear on the local metaverse marketplace.

11) What kind of file can we upload on NFT?

All types of image files: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, OGG, GLB, PDF

12) Will there be an option to sell an NFT with unlimited duration?

We don't encourage unlimited duration as storing an auction indefinitely on the blockchain uses up storage.

13) What is the NFTs standard that powers Bit.country?

For some NFTs we use our custom pallet/standard. For the semi-fungible NFTs we started implementing the ERC-1155 Standard. Also, all the wearables and raw land blocks are going to be under the ERC-1155 standard.

14) How to follow/ unfollow other Metaverse?

Just enter the Metaverse Address and press Follow/ Unfollow on the upper left side of the page.
